Dexron II A first quality high performance automatic transmission fluid surpassing the performance of GENERAL MOTORS DEXRON IID. Dexron II in accordance with the test procedures included in the Dexron IID specification posesses outstanding oxidation stability with the associated benefits of longer life and use in more severe conditions. Test requirements for oxidation stability include THOT, Turbo Hydramatic Oxidation Test, and the PEUGEOT-RENAULT Oxidation Test. Friction stability enabling safe operation in passenger cars and heavy duty equipment is demonstrated in a range of tests including HEFCAD, High Energy Friction Characteristics and Durability test, CAT TO-2, and ALLISON C-3.Excellent anti-wear and EP characteristics enhancing in-service safety in all mechanical and hydraulic systems were demonstrated by this product and revealed excellent performance. Dexron II is suitable for use as a service fill and top up fluid where all Dexron fluids and the vast majority of other Automatic Transmission fluids are recommended.

Dexron III is recommended for use in automatic transmissions of passenger cars, trucks and buses where DEXRON IID, DEXRON 11E, DEXRON III AND FORD MERCON fluids are specified, also in Mercedes Benz passenger car manual gearboxes and power shift transmissions. The use of this product should be avoided where FORD TYPE G ATF fluid is specified.
