Hydraulic Oils
Hydraulic
Revolution hydraulic grades are a range of premium quality inhibited hydraulic fluids. The economical operation of a hydraulic system is dependant on the correct hydraulic oil being used. Many modern machines use hydraulic oils for the transmission of power from one component to another. This method is used in industry in areas such as Engineering Machine Shops, where large numbers of small moving parts have to be provided with power from one main source, Hydraulic Presses which are used to shape, extrude or stamp metals under high pressures and Hydraulic Jacks which are used to lift heavy loads.
The Revolution range of hydraulic fluids are manufactured from highly refined base oils, which have good oxidation resistance lowering the possibility of gums and lacquers, which would prevent the moving of the working parts. They contain carefully selected additives such as anti oxidant; anti-corrosion to protect the system from corrosion should water be present and anti-wear to reduce wear in rotary pumps used in hydraulic systems. Incorporates the latest corrosion inhibitors for protection against all forms of corrosion. Highly shear stable. Good anti foaming and air release properties. Good demulsification characteristics. Good anti-wear performance for reduced wear in highly stressed vane pumps, highly loaded areas such as swash plates. High oxidation and thermal stability. Suitable for the majority of hose materials. The Revolution range of hydraulic oils is suitable for a wide variety of applications. They are recommended for rotary, vane, axial piston, gear pumps and bearings in many types of circulating systems.

Hydraulic (Hi V.I.) is a specialist premium quality, high VI multigrade hydraulic fluid. The economical operation of a hydraulic system is dependant on the correct hydraulic oil being used. Manufactured from highly refined base oils, which have good oxidation resistance lowering the possibility of gums and lacquers. It is blended using carefully selected additives and special viscosity index improvers, which offer superior viscosity/temperature characteristics. It can be used where extremes of ambient temperatures are encountered. High viscosity index. Low temperature performance. Incorporates the latest corrosion inhibitors for protection against all forms of corrosion. Highly shear stable for wide operating temperatures. Good anti foaming and air release properties. Rapid water separation. Exceptional anti-wear performance. High oxidation and thermal stability. Suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, low temperature applications (frozen food stores etc), construction and industrial machinery.

Ultramax FR (Fire Retardant) A fire resistant fluid of the water glycon type (HFC) for use where sources of emissions are likely to present a fire hazard. This type of fluid relies on the water content to aid it's fire retardant properties and therefore should be checked regularly. The hydraulic circuit should be specifically designed for this type of fluid.
Ultramax AF (Zinc Free)
The ultramax AF range of zinc free high performance hydraulic oils have been formulated for use in hydraulic systems containing silver plated bearing and machine tool lubrication systems with high tolerance precision plain journal bearings where zinc additives are not approved. Ultramax AF is available in an extensive range of viscosities.
Ultramax BD Fully biodegradeable if spilt in an environmentally sensitive location. Very high viscosity index product which may be used as a multigrade over the ISO 32 to ISO 68 range.
Ultramax Synthetic FG
Fully synthetic food grade hydraulic oil available in ISO 32 and ISO 46 viscosities.
